If I had a dollar for every time I was asked that question – well, I’d be writing this list from a hammock in the Bahamas!

The fact is, every child is different. One child may be ready at thirteen while another may be better off waiting. But there are a few factors I think are must-haves when it comes to giving the green light to unleashing your child on Instagram (or Snapchat). Go through this list with your child. These factors – age, friendships, values and resilience – all help lay the foundation of your experience online.
